MHUSD RECOGNITION OF SVSEI FOR EXPLORE '26 STEAM FAIR

EXPLORE STEAM FAIR '26
South Valley Science and Engineering Initiative's (SVSEI's) free, fun, family oriented 2026 EXPLORE STEAM FAIR was held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Morgan Hill Unified School District's (MHUSD's) Live Oak High School small gym from 11am-2pm. This free, fun, family friendly, science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) event , meant for TK-adults, had over 315 fairgoers, 24 activity booths with 55 booth partners and their assistants, and 51 community volunteers.

Resin and sand art, gold foiling, glitter planets, and critter in a capsule

On February 12, 2026, the Morgan Hill United School District (MHUSD) invited SVSEI's EXPLORE '26 team to their monthly school district board meeting to show their appreciation for our "outstanding contributions to fostering Youth Engagement in STEAM." In particular, MHUSD "values" SVSEI's "meaningful investment in the lives of our students and continued support of our educational system."
