EXPLORE STEAM FAIR

The South Valley Science and Engineering Initiative (SVSEI) will host our third annual free, family friendly, hands-on EXPLORE STEAM FAIR on Saturday 24, 2026, at Live Oak High School from 11am-2pm.The fun science, technology, engineering art, and math (STEAM) based activities are geared for TK-12th grade students - with adults welcome to participate too!

In the meantime, how about participating in SVSEI's TK-12th grade Explorer Coloring/Art contest? You must live or attend school within the MHUSD geographical area, use your creativity (not computer generated artwork) to decorate the Explorer figure and its background (think STEAM). But don't wait too long! Pick up the contest packet at the Morgan Hill Library in the community room or the packet from our Explorer Coloring Contest page on standard 8.5" x11" paper, create your masterpiece, then drop it off at the library's Account Desk by December 1, 2025. The winner of each of the three age categories will receive an $100 Booksmart gift card. See contest packet for complete rules, all prizes and recognition, and additional details.
